jackharries: Camping on the Jakobshavn glacier in Greenland whilst we serviced time lapse cameras with WWF. This spot is only accessible by helicopter. The first thing that struck me was the silence. As we set up tent for the evening we danced to Aretha Franklin as it echoed around the glacier from our tiny portable speaker. That night it was so cold that I slept in six jumpers, a hat, a coat, and two pairs of trousers and socks. It’s nights like these that I’ll never forget. ‘Our Changing a Climate’ will be out this Sunday! 🙌🏼🌎
finnharries: This is the front of the Jakobshavn Glacier in Greenland. Jack took this photo from a helicopter as we flew across the face of it. Jakobshavn is one of the fastest retreating glaciers in the world, as our climate continues to warm, the speed of retreat is increasing. I’m excited to share the film we made during our trip in Greenland with @wwf on Sunday. Keep an eye out for it on @jacksgap!! #ourchangingclimate
